New Hours At San Diego Courts Take Effect
Beginning on Friday, Sept. 7, San Diego Courts will close at noon every Friday. How will this affect your San Diego Probate Petition Filing?
From the article:
“According to officials, the noon closures are designed to give the court’s reduced staff time to catch up on backlogs and process court filings”.
My thought was if the staff is still working, exactly “How does this save money”? And, why Friday? Friday is one of the busiest days for San Diego people to complete all the work that has been neglected during the workweek. San Diego county probate attorneys will not be able to file probate petitions. Experience shows probate and trust personal representatives that live outside San Diego tend to complete their probate and trustee responsibilities over long weekends. Of course, this isn’t the end of the world, just another inconvenience.
